I recently visited GAPS (Gabungan Anak-Anak Palsi Serebrum) again. The atmosphere was warm, but it highlighted a real challenge: GAPS is a charity driven by passion, yet they have no dedicated IT staff and are very short on people. This is why we focus on making complex technology simple. Our goal is to help their brilliant work go further, faster, despite their limited resources.
The main reason for my visit was to sign off on their new website. It is clean, clear, and easy to use. I showed the team every page, making sure it was simple for everyone to follow. A great charity website must be something that non-tech staff can handle easily. It needs to get information out fast and show how donations are used transparently.
The next big step is the Management Training. I scheduled a date with the team, as this training is crucial. It will teach them how to update the website instantly and on their own—changing photos, updating services, and posting news without needing outside help. This is true empowerment: it puts the power of technology into their hands. It cuts down on admin time and lets them focus their energy back into caring for children with cerebral palsy.
This is only the start. We also talked about our next project: building an automated Membership System. For a small team like GAPS, this system will be a game-changer. It will free them from heavy paperwork and help them manage their support network more efficiently. It is our commitment to GAPS’s future: using technology as a wing to help them fly higher and stand stronger.
We truly believe technology’s greatest value is serving dedicated charities like GAPS. By helping them make this digital switch, we hope every bit of their hard work gains an efficiency boost, overcoming the limits of time and people.
