When Effort Meets Trust, Quiet Support Takes Root

Today, Ms. Rafidah, the president of Gabungan Anak-Anak Palsi Serebrum (GAPS), officially decided to let us become their tech support partner.

She shared that over the years, she’s received many emails offering to help improve their website. But most were from overseas companies, filled with fancy terms and proposals, yet nothing ever really happened. This time felt different. For the first time, it was a local team reaching out, willing to listen and genuinely help. She felt it might be fate, so she chose to say yes.

GAPS is a small NGO supporting families of children with cerebral palsy. They don’t have a lot of resources, but she’s always hoped the website could become more than just a page. She wants it to grow into a proper tool for sharing information with parents, supporting internal work, and helping the group develop further.

From our side, this isn’t just about fixing a webpage. We’ll work together on backend cleanups, easier ways to update content, and a plan for long-term maintenance. The goal is to make things sustainable even with limited manpower.

She also said she hopes we can continue solving problems one by one, together.

That moment meant a lot to me.

Sometimes, what moves an organization to start isn’t a clever pitch. It’s when they see someone who’s really willing to walk with them, step by step.
