That meeting turned out to be much more than just a discussion about tech.
She shared the story behind GAPS, how it all started because of her daughter. Every step she’s taken has come from a place of love and resilience. It hasn’t been an easy road. She even told me how she was once cheated by a web design company, paying for something that never delivered. Hearing her experience, I could truly relate. Not out of sympathy, but because I’ve seen how easily kind-hearted efforts can be taken advantage of.
As we spoke, I offered some simple suggestions. Nothing complicated, just a few ideas on how things could be better planned and supported. It wasn’t a pitch, and there was no pressure. Just a quiet exchange between two people, both trying to do something good in their own ways.
There was no agreement signed, no official next step. But we both walked away with a sense of mutual understanding. If the time comes when we can collaborate, I know it will be meaningful.
I appreciate this kind of pace. No big promises. No rush. Just letting trust build naturally.
